Introduction

My name is Kat, and I am a licensed professional counselor in both Pennsylvania and Delaware. I obtained my first Licensure for Professional Counseling in 2019.

As a non-binary individual, I greatly appreciate the opportunity to work at Arrive Therapy, where we provide a safe and inclusive space for members of the LGBTQ+ community to connect with others who share their identity.

In our sessions, I strive to utilize my personal life experience and comprehensive training to offer support and provide assistance to you and your family.

What it’s like to see me as a therapist

In therapy, my goal is to establish a safe and welcoming space where individuals can openly express their thoughts and feelings without any concerns about being judged.

Furthermore, I strive to support you in finding a place of contentment where you can fully embrace and derive pleasure from life. I strongly believe that sharing moments of laughter with others and cultivating meaningful connections with people can greatly enhance our overall sense of fulfillment.

About Me

In my spare time, I enjoy being in nature, arts & crafts, and sharing laughter with friends. I started my journey as a clown and balloon artist in 2002, and I began exploring the art of face painting in 2010.

I also find solace in indulging in research literature and in the Nintendo Switch from time to time. Additionally, I have developed a deep-rooted interest in Holistic Health practices.

Education

My Bachelor of Science Education is in Mathematics from Millersville University. While tutoring, and Academic Coaching I found my passion for helping people which led me down the Counselor trajectory. I continued my education at West Chester University and received my Masters in School Counseling which led to my licensure in counseling in 2019. I have received continuing education/certification on a variety of topics including but not limited to: ADHD, Autism, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Trauma-Informed counseling, and Highly Sensitive Persons.
