Introduction

Hi! I'm Eben. I've been part of the team at Arrive Therapy since 2021.

As a therapist, I bring my own unique experiences to the table; I'm a gay trans man who transitioned over twenty years ago and spent 15 years working in community mental health, HIV services, and working with people who are unhoused before becoming a therapist.

It's truly a privilege to be able to support the trans and queer community through my work at Arrive.

About Me

I have always enjoyed working with people and learning their stories. Until recently, I worked in community mental health with people who have serious mental health concerns. I have also worked in HIV clinics, the court system and housing programs.

I've been incredibly fortunate to call many different places across the country my home. But now, I've happily settled down in Philly with my partner, along with our rescue dog and cat. In my freetime I enjoy hiking, baking and going to Union games.

Education

I am a pre-licensed therapist with a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Antioch University New England in Keene, New Hampshire.

My training included certificate course work in providing gender affirming therapy. I studied public health at the University of Washington prior to attending Antioch.
