Introduction

Hi! My name is Karen (she/they) and I am a Clinical Mental Health graduate student fulfilling my practicum and internship hours at Arrive Therapy.

I identify as a white, genderfluid, queer person, and as “small fat” within the fat liberation spectrum. I am a graduate counseling student at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA.

What it’s like to see me as a therapist

I believe in meeting you where you are, understanding your story, and framing our sessions to match your unique needs and preferences. It’s really important to me that therapy is a judgment-free zone, and that we can celebrate your strengths and support your needs. I consider myself genuine, kind, and pretty nerdy.

About Me

When I’m not working or studying, you can often find me teaching or dancing Queer Tango! I have taught and DJ’d for Queer Tango events around the world and organize two events annually in the United States. I also enjoy indoor and outdoor rock climbing, reading science fiction, and spoiling my dog, Enzo.
