River Gallo, a actor, writer, model and intersex activist from New Jersey, played a prominent role in the documentary, with their primary goal being to unpack the trauma that many intersex people experience; and to have, "...intersex people to feel seen, understood and celebrated, so much that they believe that whatever they want to achieve in their life is possible" (Gallo).
