Why We Still Need Pride Celebrations in 2024
Even in 2024, the LGBTQ+ community continues to face discrimination, marginalization, and threats to their basic rights in many parts of the world. From outdated laws criminalizing same-sex relationships to lack of legal protections against discrimination in housing, employment, and public services, the fight for full equality is far from over.
