The Arrive Approach
Founded by Trans and LGBTQ+ People, for Our Own Communities
Arrive was created by trans, queer, and gender-expansive people to offer care that reflects our lived realities.
Our practice is led by LGBTQ+ clinicians who bring both professional training and lived experience to every session. You will not be asked to translate yourself in order to be understood.
Arrive began in 2019 when Alexander Stefanini, a trans man and licensed professional counselor, set out to build the space he needed growing up: a place where trans and queer people can show up fully without fear of judgment or misunderstanding. What started with one clinician has grown into a team of LGBTQ+ therapists committed to serving our communities.
We are more than a practice. We are part of the communities we serve, carrying forward a vision of care grounded in lived experience and the belief that no one should have to explain or defend who they are to receive support.
Trans and Gender-Affirming Therapy
We provide therapy that centers the needs of transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people across all stages of life.
Whether you are questioning, exploring, or moving through social or medical transition, you will find support that honors your pace and your choices.
Our team offers space for identity exploration, letters for gender-affirming surgery, and care through every stage of transition. We also work with parents, partners, and families who want to learn how to show up with understanding and love.
Every path is unique, and we are here to walk alongside yours.
"We are a team of queer and trans therapists in Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania, offering LGBTQ+ affirming therapy that is rooted in lived experience. Weāre here to meet you with care, respect, and understanding."
